Evaluation Collective

Evaluation Collective Networking Event: Who are the evaluation advocates in higher education?

This online session, held on 4th November 2022, invited those working to build evaluation capacity in UK HE to explain their approach during a panel session and Q&A. Presenters from across the UK higher education sector were asked to explore:

  • How does your organisation/group help build evaluation capacity across the HE sector?
  • How does your organisation/group help build evaluation capacity across the HE sector?
  • Who tends to engage with your organisation/group and who might be missing?
  • Is your organisation/group aimed at a specific level of prior evaluative knowledge or experience?
  • How can people get involved with your organisation/group?

Invited speakers included TASO, NERUPI, NEON, SCAPPS, AdvanceHE, QAA, SEER, FACE and the Evaluation Collective.

Attendees learnt about the support offered across the sector and make connections to enhance their own evaluation approaches and build confidence. Evaluation occurs in many different spaces in higher education. This event particularly welcomed those who are new to evaluation and are keen to learn more about the support they can access.

A recording of the networking event is available below and the presentation slides can be downloaded.
