Evaluation Collective

Evaluation Collective Event: Universal Evaluation Framework (UEF)

The UEF (https://evaluationforall.org) is an open access tool for planning evaluations or for gathering evaluative evidence created by Prof Stella Jones-Devitt and Prof Liz Austen. It is designed to enable development of evaluation capabilities and to increase your confidence in evaluating change. The UEF provides a platform for you to build an evidence base for effective decision-making concerning enhanced student outcomes.

The interactive and customisable UEF enables you and your colleagues to plan, design, implement, and learn from your evaluations, regardless of scale. The UEF tool gathers personalised and/or group records concerning all phases of evaluation. This means that you can easily evidence each stage as your evaluation progresses. It offers transparency for reporting what is working well and otherwise.

During this session, the wide utility of the UEF was demonstrated. For example, you could be a strategic leader wanting to know about effectiveness of a complex initiative, a Programme Leader looking to enhance student satisfaction, or Student Support Officer planning a peer-mentoring scheme.
